The way i see it is i have not run the unit since i took the pump out. I know what tooth it was on when it was taken off. All i did was fix it and placed it back the way it was. If that does not work then i will have to figure out the timing part.
So i only had a few min before dark to work on it. My wife had other plans for me today. Tomorrow we are expecting a very big storm so it may have to wait until next week ;(
So some questions on timing.
What cylinder is number 1?
how do you know if its the compression stroke or not?
I am assuming i am installing the injector pump while trying this timing method?
Best way to judge 15 degrees?
I feel the instructions are half done. A few more pics would be nice on...
Ok i think its all back together. Now for the timing. Tomorrow i will be seeing about timing this thing. Any pointers? I know a few have mentions flow timing but i have not found directions on that just method one.
I got it, it was stuck and i have cleaned it out. now it is nice and smooth. Thanks for all the help.
New part should be on the way and then i have to put it together lol.
I think the timing will be the hard part.
thanks again everyone!
So it looks like i need to get the disk that is around the shaft off. I assume that is just fitted on and needs to be carefully worked off?
See pic
Or does the shaft come out the other side? (the side opposite of the side the shaft sicks out?)
So do i need to stick something in the small hole that is opposite of the shaft to try and pop the shaft out?
See pic
Or does everything inside that hole come out as part of the shaft?
I also added a pic of the shaft side.
I can clean out the ports by shooting wd40 in them but i would like to get the inside clean because i am not able to turn that shaft at all with my hands or tool at this time.
