I am running one with great success. The accel loss between 4th and 5th is not much at all. My truck still has plenty of power to move right thru the wider gears. I am also running 1100's on my truck.

although the rpm's come down the load goes up. so you end up having to put your foot into it more. ie more fuel. so as tom said it cancels itself out.

I now have a set of these gears in hand and am about to install them in my truck.
Let me just say I hate to put them in because they are a work of art. all the machine work is beautiful and the roller bearing conversion is outstanding. I can't wait to get it on the road and see what it does.
it is not dead I heard from him a few days back stating nobody in the states would take the small order but e was having or had them done overseas. they would be ready end of jan.
