1953 M37 vin

Hi where is the vin number on the Dodge M37? I found a small plate on the passenger side on the firewall. Then there are hardly readable data plates on the glove box, this is a 1953. Thanks for your help CW

Ok thanks any help on this matter will be great,on the data plate the numbers that may be a vin say ORD stock# G and then 11 numbers follow

It will be on the frame behind the driver side wheel as soupermike mentioned. It may be hard to read if there are many layers of paint so the best option is to take a flashlight and shine is across the frame so you can see the numbers in relief.

The VIN shouldn't be on the data plate as the serial number and VIN are two different numbers.

The number on the data tag should match the one on the frame.

Sorry it took so long. The vin is on the flat vertical part of the frame in the pic
