1962 M35 a1 help??
Hello, looking for help with my new purchase, a 1962 Studebaker M35 a1 which has had the multifuel conversion. I went to work on it to try and make it run over the weekend. New filters and a lot of bleeding with no luck, I remembered back on this forum about the fuel shut off valve. Yep that was the culprit, mine doesn't turn freely, I tried freeing it with some kroil, reinstalled it and got stuck in full throttle position, had to stall it in gear as had no way to kill it! So anybody have a spare free turning shut off valve they will sell? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Kevin
I am hoping to get some pictures posted soon, it seems to be in pretty good shape for her age with a hard cab top. Some earlier owner decide to run straight gas in her so I have that to deal with as it is way stale when I get it home..
