Yep. 1 ton Dodge.. Dana 70 closed knucke front and Dana 70 rear both with track locks, 4 speed, 318, divorced NP 205 and as ugly as they come! No pictures of it anytime soon my camera is kapoop and no way of downloading from my phone onto my compooper. It was a Navy truck and Crismons says they are rare but the book only has one picture of a 1968 showing mostly the front and kind of a distant one. I have been searching online but finding nothing.

Holy crap Bob! Where did you find that? I exchanged some emails with Ddoyle , he thinks he has some information on them but won't have access to that for a little bit. So I will wait patiently he is a busy guy. I also took the info off the data plates and am going to see if Portrayal Press has anything on them.

Is that a stock front bumper? I have the same brush guard/winch setup. Under the red is 34087 green and under that is Strata Blue not Navy Grey but it says US Navy in 3 spots. I think I will barrow a camera from my neighbor today.

Lane, is there a data plate on it? If so, what is the registration number?

Yes Data plates
Date 5/70
Registration # 70C 328
Contract # GS-OOS-83544
FSN# 2320-965-0244
That's an Air Force registration number but doesn't mean it didn't go to the Navy sometime after acceptance. Looks as though it was accepted in the same batch as the trucks belonging to the guy from Texas.
If it was a Navy number it would start with 94 (up to 10K GVW).
