1985 m923 with 250 cummins mods?

just curious if anyones has any ideas on what i can do to get a little more out of the motor. im new to the site any this truck. i know on my 5.9 cummins i had there was several ways to got more power out of the motor by turning up the pump and changing the fuel plate. just was wondering if these things r possible with the big motors.
