1986 m1009 GP question

I have a 1986 m1009 I have seen about people bypassing the temp switch witch keeps the glow plugs from cycling while warm I cant sem to find where the switch is located and what it looks like and what they did to bypass it I was just curios just incase I need to do this in the future. Pics would be helpfull if anybody can provide them because I am the type of person that if shown I understand but if told I stay stupid.
