2003 m1078a1 3126 275hp part missing next to cold starting aid canister

Anyone know what's missing? I'm new in the lmtv community. This is a 2003 m1078.

That would be your LBCD(load and battery control device).

Is that essentially a battery equalizer?

Prevents someone from putting the batteries in backwards. If your truck has batt cutoff solenoids at the batt box then your truck uses the advanced polarity box it assists in regulating battery charging.

My truck does have battery cutoff solenoids in a box next to the battery box. Does that mean I need something other than the n2003?

That is the adv one. I have used and new ones.

Hi suprman. Do you have the load cutoff relay that goes in between the battery cutoff and the LBCD?

The modular one? Has 4 large posts and an automotive connector? I have that.
