Greetings all,
This may seem a bit distant but for those who have been asking, the latest info on our 2014 Rally & Swap Meet is that it will 19-20 September at Portland, IN on the Jay County Fairgrounds. The Museum of the Soldier in Portland is hosting the venue as well as having their annual open house & fundraiser that weekend.
We may have some indoor vendor spaces this year but won't be able to confirm until late April or early May. The outdoor spaces are still $20 for all the space you need. This year, the Museum of the Soldier is moving their annual October fundraising BBQ chicken dinner to that Friday, 19 September and donated 1 meal with each vendor space sold. Previously, we collaborated with our food guy and everyone got to eat off the same ticket. One big change for us this year is only the 1 meal will be provided with the cost of the vendor fee. Any extra meals will have to be bought through the Museum of the Soldier.
There will be primitive camping on-site and we are working to get early vendors allowed in Thursday without having to pay a fee. Also there are hotel & restaurant accommodations in Portland. Elsewise, pretty much the same as previous years.
We'll know more by time the Findlay show comes around.
