I found a few of these 24v battery's they are dry and have never been activated. So all I have to do is add the Electrolyte,"acid". I know at 38 Lbs wet, it is a small battery and will not start a Deuce but I was thinking this should be good for the smaller applications such as a generator and the like.

Has anyone ever delt with this specific battery before...?

Those came on the smaller gen sets and stuff like that. I checked on the inter state web site and they get like $250 for those new. I've got 2 of them and plan too keep them for display. I'll get some cheap lawn mower batterys for my gen sets.

I just got a smoking deal then, picked this one up on epay for $80.69

I like these cause you add acid and charge it when you need it and it can be stored for years, kinda goes with the bug out/be prepared theory...Don

I believe they are referred to as a 4HN. Unique case size and yes, used in smaller gasoline gensets.
