Hello Team, this might be an odd post or request, but Lewis County WA is going to do a remembrance of the Japanese families that were taken to the local train station and sent to Internment camp on 2 JUNE 1942. If you would like to participate, we need early war uniforms and vehicles. So far we have 3 vehicles and a half dozen living historians in uniform. There will be some talk and a dedication of a plaque to their memory.
Event will be that the Lewis County Historical Museum, 599 NW Front Street, Chehalis, WA 98532. Time 1000 - 1400
Come out in period attire or come and listen to a forgotten part of our history. More to come on this.
