3053a to rebuild or not?

I recently got my hands on a 3053A for $200. It has some surface rust and in the case everything looks to be good but it was sitting outside for a while. About how much would I be looking at in rebuild costs in bearings, seals ect? I wouldn't want to exceed the price of a good takeout, I'm just not sure about this one as it was out of the truck.

for 200 you have already exceeded the price of a good takeout. clean what you can and go with what you have. these trannies are very forgiving when it comes to dirst and rust. just change the fluid a couple times in the first 50 miles.
