318 transplant oilpan clearance?

I think the blocks are there because the transplant 318 oil pan will hit the axle without them.
I took some photos but it is a little hard to tell what is going on

I can't see much in pic's but it Looks like you need to reverse the pan ( and oil pick up tube )
318's for trucks have the pan well in the back of the block and car 318's have the pan well in the front this is to prevent pan from hitting front diff. Looks like your 318 came out of a car and they did not flip the pan around,
After you reverse the pan ( and install rear oil pick up tube ) you can get rid of those scary lift blocks.
