4L80e: Getting RPM signal to my aftermarket TCM

Thought you guys might know the answer. A month ago I finished my 4L80e swap and used an aftermarket US Shift Quick 4 TCM controller. The only piece of the puzzle I have left is getting a tach signal to the TCM. I also just installed a NOS HMMWV tach and pulled signal for it from the two wires on my ESS (oil pump drive) on the rear passenger side of my block. The tach works perfect.

Hypothetically, could I connect the TCM RPM input wire to one of the two ESS wires to get rpm signal? If so, which of the two ESS wires should I use? I was told both ESS wires are signal. Any help would be much appreciated.
