So, um, what's the spacing on the 5 ton arms? Could we use these for spacing out the rear axles a bit? I wonder if we could also use the same bottom leaf for the leaf pack.

Someone want to do some measuring for me? <img src="emoticons/icon_smile_cool.gif" alt="Cool">

I'm not sure how well this would work. Sounds good, but the 5 ton spring are MUCH wider than the deuce springs. I'm talking like a night and day spring size difference. The other thing is the piece that the stock springs ride on top of...the spring go through that piece and nut on the bottom of it. You'd have some creative work ahead of you to widen that or make the perch wider to accept the 5 ton's wider spring AND still be strong enough to support the truck. Remember, the truck is hanging FROM those four U-bolts on the spring packs. Just a couple of initial hiccups I see with the 5 ton spring swap.

Spring is roughly 59 in. long 4 in. wide, arms are 29 in. All measurements taken at night so allow for a little.I have looked at the 2.5 tons everything is much smaller.Need any more info let me know
