5 Ton Pinion Seals

Can anyone provide a link to a video on this? Can the seals be replaced without disturbing pinion shims? Can't find relevant TM.

Just pull the flange and the seal is in the bearing retainer. No need to reshim if your not changing bearings.
Hardest part is getting the nut and flange off.

Is using a big impact acceptable? Or is it better to use a big breaker bar? I dont know if shock loading the bearings will effect them.
