6.2 engine oil dipstick tube seal?

I have not looked for this in the -P manual, so I don't know for sure. That would be the best way to confirm or deny this.

However, I have never seen an O-ring on the dip stick tube where it slides into the side of the oil pan. There is about 1/2 inch of pretty tight interference fit and then the top of the tube bolts to the head or injection line tie down bracket on the valve cover depending on engine year.
