EDIT: nevermind, I had forgotten that it was a USMC spec truck, so it has lockers, and so yes, superior capability...

From personal experience in Iraq, I can tell you that these things are unstoppable. They drove into and out of stuff that hung up 916's, 923's, 931's, HEMETT wreckers and Humvees.

I've always liked mine and it's one of my favorite series of trucks. Just wish they had the air shift front end like the M939 series did. My M817s and M816s have never let me down.

I really wish my collection of M series trucks had lockers, especially the deuces, they are forever getting stuck in the swampy parts of our land while working. The zill ural and the kraz had single wheels and locks all round, never got stuck.

A 4x4 isn't a 4x4 without lockers, and a 6x6 isn't a 6x6....
