Hey folks, thought I'd do a review of my experience of trying to keep my 831a mobile.
When I first acquired it , I put it on a 40"x48" trailer and intended on parking it next to my 803a on the power end of my house. After finding out how fickle these 831s are to moisture, I moved it into the garage . I put it on casters , to save space, well that limited it's mobility to just my concrete drive, 20' out the garage door.
I just purchased a Gorilla Cart, 1200lb capacity, a bit overkill but the only one with a 30"x46" deck to fit the 831 skid width. Has 13" pneumatic tires and a pull handle that converts to a hitch. I can hand pull it or tow behind easily now, takes little extra storage space but very convenient!
Peace
Brian
