923A2 Alternator assistance in Adamstown MD

Looking for some mechanical assistance in Adamstown MD picked up a 923A2 want to get it squared away before driving it to Berkeley Springs . Having overcharging issue. Anyone ever get any alternator work at K&K on 355? Guys at Carrol Manor Fire Co. Run a M-175 and they recommended them?

I removed the military alternator and put in one off a bulldozer. Works great, but required a spacer for the long bolt and a grove in the mounting bracket to clear shorter alternator.

Several options out there. Do a search and you should find a few examples.

The stock alternator is adjustable. Try turning it down first. You can run the truck an incredible distance with no charging system if you need to, and even further during the day, just take the alt belt off. Zip tie the stop solenoid back and unplug it.
