Hello
Looking to find a connection to a generator with the 3fxu2 connector.

I can’t seem to find any information on how to hook this heat pump to a generator or which generator it would take.
Any ideas?.

I'm no expert, but that looks like a 60 amp 3 phase 5-wire plug. It might say 32-12 inside where the pins come out.

Here's an older thread with some more info:

As far as a compatible generator goes, that probably draws too much for a MEP-803 (10kw), so you'd be more in the neighborhood of an MEP-804 (15kw). There are older and newer gens that could work, too. I think several of the Drash / GETT machines come with that style of receptacles.

That is a straight cool/electric strip heat unit. Heat is 12,000 watts (12 kW) and cool is 6 kW give or take. Generator needs to exceed cool kW by X1.5 ish for start surge handling.

Edit: math mistake
