We're real ACTIVE up here so instead of ramming everything in the Early Deuce thread I'll share Alberta Canada Trips In Vehicle Events ACTIVE right here.
I wasn't even looking for an acronym to run under but this just fell off the keyboard so we'll go with it.
The local MVPA has been feeding HMV's to the local towns for parades almost before the MVPA was founded. Hooking up with Hodgson, one of the earlier drivers behind the MVPA, has netted me one of the greatest friends and mentors this hobby could ever find.
I've been running to Onoway since I bought the M1010 in 2010 and Hodgson finally joined us today. The M1010 which I recently sold also came back to pay her respects to the town which first shared our presence in 2010. It was real BIG of the new owner to make sure the 1010 was able to make the 40 mile run from Edmonton and join a fleet spanning 4 decades.
The longest one-way trip to get here belonged to the Dodge Command car, 50 miles.....success. The CCKW and the WW11 Harley ran 40 miles. The heavy rain stopped before we all hit the highway and didn't start again until we were all home....just a perfect day with the ACTIVE contingent.
Pics.
