All the solutions in that section look pretty funny / obvious, but the ghost takes the cake!

A lot of box store gensets and similar documents have much of that same non-information. They aren't really looking to have them be user serviceable, and do so by lacking real information.

and for a model train transformer(controller) that refuses to behave/function, drop it into a steel drum and beat the hell out of it!
(thats where I originally heard the idea some many years ago but the same expression can honestly pretty much apply to anything both electronics and non-electronics. umm well uhh yeah just don't try stuff a human/animal into the drum in question tho, as that might cause permanent hearing problems afterward depending on how hard you were at to beating the drum itself tho)
