Well folks,I am leaving at 0400 in the Dodge to make the trip to Papabears AO to retrive a M52 tractor,Ferro is meeting me there with the 915A1 and 270 for the haul home.

I am delivering patracys 5 ton transmission and swiss's gasser 5 ton fuel tank to be picked up by patracy soon.

Pics/video should be taken and posted later Sat evening when we make it to my home for offloading.

Hopefully someone will keep Mr Murphy busy for the day.

 Safe travels! Hopefully next weekend I'll be able to swing by CAMO. If I wasn't on call I'd go down tomorrow.

My M37 has been moved to another compound and is well protected...you can still steal Doc's M42...or one of the other project M37's though...unless BabyBear sees ya!

Transfered the tank to my pu at 0745, so in another hour or so, AMG should be rolling into the compound

She lives!!!

Started the day out with a good breakfast at the VFW then went to the CAMO Compound for a quick session of disorganized grabbass before AMG and Ferro arrived.

AMG arrived around 10:00hrs and started checking out the M52. He wanted to get it running so he could drive it on/off Ferro's trailer:shock:

Unloaded patracy's trans then went to work.

We drug that ole M52 into the shop and AMG installed some fresh batteries and checked fluids etc., also attached a 5 gallon can of fresh gasoline to the fuel line bypassing the tank...then fixed a small fuel leak.

Ferro showed up with his transport truck/trailer.

After some basic PMCS the ole girl started to snort and grumble and threatened to start up!!
Filed the points and she fired up but wouldn't take throttle or stay running!!

AMG took the carb apart, cleaned up the important parts and put it back together...then she lit off like she was happy to!
BBQ lunch at the VFW then back to the "hooch".

The North Carolina Crew loaded up the trucks and headed home.

It was a good day.

:drool:We made it to Brandon's LZ at about 0100. We looked at the thread but I guess Brandon didn't post. No issues whatsoever. PB, that was a slick 'racing' tread tire on the tractor. Lol. Looks the same as when we left. I need to get a few spares on the rim to have at the house ready to go all the time. Mr Murphy stayed far away. We are headed out to grab some breakfast and then then retrieve my truck and trailer. (We left it at his work and just unloaded the dually. Didn't feel like trying to back the battleship in the dark.)

As usual the Camo crew treated us like family. I loved when after we decided to go for lunch at the VFW, PB says 'let's take the gun truck!' And he wasn't joking! All the times I have been around it, that was my first ride in her.

Sorry Ferro...I'm easily confused...can't tell a tractor from a trailer...lol.

I don't know if you noticed but when I said "let's take the Guntruck," Brandon said "I'll drive".
Tony magically arrived and hopped in the cab and occupied "his" position as driver.:)

I'm glad you fellers made it home without issues and I'm glad Brandon is happy with his new 'toy"!!
