Are tach cables already in the dash?

Are the cables for a tachometer already in the dash, or is that part of the wiring harness for the winch panel? I looked at pictures of the wiring harness on eBay, and it didn't look like the tach wires were part of it, but I could be mistaken.

Thanks!

Your second guess is right: part of the wiring harness for the winch panel.

There is a thread in here on it. I started the Pin outs and got sidetracked. Search Tach and my username and it should come up. From those in here who have added one....... they seem to say it is a Generic elec. 24v Marine like tach. If recall right there is a sensor on the engine... or a place for it. Can't recall if you could get it off the Alt. instead. Think so

UPDATE..... did the search. Here is a long thread on it. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?150204-LMTV-M1078-Tachometer

This one start at post 23. mentiones using Alt. as pickup for Tach. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?163277-A-few-mods-done-to-my-1078/page3
