attach thumbnails or image

From another thread a remark on how my pictures appeared.

I think the problem is with the way they're posted.. If it says "attached thumbnails," you can click on them for bigger pics. If it says "attached images," clicking on them will do nothing. They'll stay the same size...tiny.

To my knowledge, I always did the same procedure. However, in the same thread, earlier pictures were attached as thumbnails and later pictures as full images you can't enlarge.


No idea how I managed that. Checked with mangus' post on images from 2008 and on some other posts, but can't figure out how to post images as thumbnails. On the attach image pop-up I can upload images, but I do not see a feature saying "show as clickable thumbnail".

How to do that?
