Axle u bolts need specs

This company is located in Harrisburg PA. They make leaf springs and U bolts on site. Many U bolts that are purchased from vendors are overly expensive. When I call Stanley springs I give the size and quantity and they make them on the spot or while I wait. They also list U Bolts and springs by application and make you whatever you want. I hope this is helpful. They have shipped parts to other friends of mine that are out of state. Good Luck and Be Safe. I never use U bolts over after they have been removed. They are very inexpensive and not worth the risk. I have seen some real bad U Bolts and lower clamping plates on CUCV axles.

Can anyone confirm the dimensions I need.
I found someone swapping out their cab and chassis axles for regular. I want to go the other way around.
We both have CUCVs, and I have an Eaton for the front to toss in. His already has one.
Out here where I am, military vehicles are not common. I'd like to move on this.

Simply measure your axle tube and mounting perches or whatever you have.

If you want part numbers, the parts TM should have them.

If you want specifications, use the part number and look it up on Parttarget.

I have used a coat hanger or 1/4" all thread rod to make a U bolt pattern/prototype. Bend it where you need it cut it to length. Measure the holes and take it to the shop. After the hanger / rod is bent take notes /measurements and you can darn near get a U bolt made from the hanger and the measurements. The radius around the axle is the most important part. The length 1" longer then needed is better. But as far as application it sounds like a miss match of parts and you will need to make precise measurements to get the correct U bolts the first time. Just what are Cab Chassis axles? And what are Regular? Tossing an Easton in seem very Irregular on a CUCV. What is an Eaton? Some sort of locker? Be Safe and Take Care.
