Well I have this winch I want to install on the Beast, but I needed a wich bumper, which is out of my budget range for now. Anywho, I ended up doin an even steven swap for a winch bumper kit made by Joh @ Midwest Military. Very fine work, but it turns out ya need frame extensions to be able to mount a winch on a non winch vehicle.
Now Dennis Sherman makes those extensions for $90.00 a set (he makes 2 different sets, the long for the 251 engine, & the short for the 230, both of the same high quality as what John does). Good price, but still out of my budget range.
So, I was wonderin if anyone out there has a set they don't need (long) & would sell em CHEAP? If ya do, let me know.
Anywho, I had to install the winch bumper so I can still drive the Beast, & when & if I get them extensions, I'll have to take it apart & do it again. Meanwhile, here's some pics for your enjoyment. 3rd is what it looked like, 2nd is a neckid Beast front, & 1st is what it looks like now.
