For anyone wanting a block heater look into the magnetic kind, just slap on to block and plug in no cutting of hoses or pulling freeze plugs. They are available at just about any parts store and at Walmart and hardware stores. Also at Napa they have 24 volt 5 amp chargers that can be permanently mounted under hood and wired direct the part number is NBC NIN2405. Gasman:grin:

After my incident yesterday I am installing a 5000watt generator in the truck bed and running wires to a magnetic fuel tank heater and to the block heater for when it is this cold. I travel to Embarass, MN often (coldest place in NA) it gets to be -30F regularly in the morning hours of the winter. The generator should keep things warm.
