Hi All, We're bobbing a 5 Ton tractor. Wondering what to do w/ rear shocks. We are using a spring kit from a 5 ton cargo front. Any suggestions, Thanks! BA/ JF

Guys, Thanks for your relies, I appreciate it! The problem we are having, is: Trying to mount the shocks on the rear as they were on the front, threading the shocks up between the rear brake can stems and the axle is pretty tight. There is not much clearance. I'm afraid during suspension articulation, that we will bend/bind things. I would like to use shocks, as on trucks with separate axle suspensions (unlike the original Cargo "Hendrickson walking beam type" suspension) The Reyco/ or air ride axles (whether one or 2 axles) Take very nicely to shock dampening. And on road/off road is better. PS it would be nice to convert these silly wedge brakes to the "S" cam style that I have been working w/ for lots of years

I will have to get a pic of mine, I used the stock front shock mounts but cut the L part off them and turned them so bolt holes were @ 6 O'clock and 12 O'clock instead of 3 and 9. I then used 1" spacers behind the mounts and bolted them where the factory rear bumpstops were bolted (holes lined up perfectly) truck rides much better with them installed.

Hi, Thanks so much! The only concern we had was "Threading the needle" on the bottom. It looks really close between the axle and the air brake can stems. Although you did that, and it works! we shall try the same. Again, I thank you for your time and tips! And the top mounts are a revelation, we'll try that one too. Best, Bill A
