Is there any one in the Uniontown Pa area that may have an injection pump. I am buying a Deuce from a guy in KY and he was nice enough to bring it up to me but it died on him last night. Or if anyone can lead me in the right direction in the berks county pa area so I can pick one up and take it to him. He says he's pretty sure it's the injection pump because he has fuel to the pump but none past it.

I can't be much help, stuck at work. There are a couple members in that area.

Only place I know of that would have one relatively close is Sam Winer in Ohio. It is a couple hours away from his location.

He probably knows this but make sure he checked the fuel cut off in the injector pump, mine did that to me on the road and I thought I was in a lot of trouble, but the fix was free once I figured out the problem.

Best of luck on the rest of the trip- hope you all can get it done! :driver:

Looks like I'm about 3 hours away. Give me a call. Greg 440-228-7651
Greg, thanks for the offer but for some reason I didn't get emails telling me about resposes except for the first one. I don't want to call you this late but if we don't get anywhere by tomorrow I may give you a ring.

I spoke to him on the phone and offered the best help I could. He still wasn't able to get moving. Anyone hear anything from him?

Any idea what it was, or did it just start up?
We're guessing it's something with the pump. If you leave it sit for hours it will start and run great and as long as you keep it running it runs great. But then it will just shut off like you pulled the fuel kill and will not start again. The guy I bought it from was great and he is going to send me another injection pump, once I put it on I'll know if that was it for sure. Or does anyone have any other idea as to where I should start, there is quite a bit of fuel leaking from the pump I haven't had a chance to really clean it up and see if it's actually coming from the pump or just the lines supplying it.

After our talk on the phone, I would suspect the pump. Feel free to call before you swap it out and I'll try to walk you through it.
