The FALL version of Camp Delta is the second largest annual MV swap meet and show in the West, again hosted by the Military Vehicle Collectors of California this September. Location is the Stockton Delta KOA at Tower Park Resort, six miles west of I-5 on State Route 12. For pro and amateur vendors this is a low cost event - FREE except for your paid campsite through KOA! NO admission charge, NO MV registration fee, NO parking fee, and NO SNIVELLING! Vendors must rent campsites. Large, mostly shady, grassy, full-hookup sites, dry camping option, plus KOA Kabins. Unlike at the April event, plenty of good campsites are available. Join us Friday night for the "South Seas Luau!" Break out your aloha shirts, mumus, khakis, and HBTs. Military watercraft are invited, in or out of the water. Recognition for Longest Distance Driving a MV, Longest Distance Transporting a MV, and Hard Luck Award getting to or during the event. Friday is Uniform Day (as is every day!). MVCC Meeting Saturday morning - meet your new MVCC Board. MV commuter parking close-in, BBQ dinners, restaurant with bar, marina, boat ramp & rentals, store, ice cream shop. Pool with water features for the kids plus adult pool, spa. Unlike in Spring, for FALL event camping go direct to KOA at http://koa.com/campgrounds/stockton/ or 800-562-0913. Identify yourself as being with the military vehicle group and REQUEST CAMPGROUND 4 (Fall meet only) unless you prefer Campground 2. We focus on CG4 to minimize "civilians" camping in our area. Activities Coordinator is John Neuenburg at in_garage@hotmail.com or 415-491-1601. For more details including nearby lodging, important parking info, directions, see event calendar at www.mvccnews.net. All welcome! Don't forget the largest annual MV meet in the west, the April version of Camp Delta at the same great location. We also encourage YOU to join the MVCC - the oldest regional MV club in the U.S.!

Added a spud gun shoot Friday 1000, and maybe again Saturday at 1330 if there is a demand. Air powered, direct fire or mortar. Looking for a generator and possibly another compressor. Let me know. Radio operators wanted for mortar forward observer and fire base.

Would like to attend but I will probably have to been out east the week this is going on. Still a chance but doubtful. Maybe in the spring. The one this past March was great!

Well obviously your priorities are messed up Carnac.

Seriously we appreciate the effort you made to drive out here last April. Very hardcore! Save your pennies for a return in summer 2016 when the MVCC will probably be hosting the MVPA National Convention. It won't be at the KOA. Details to be revealed at Camp Delta this September.

I'll be coming out on Saturday the 21st. 5-ton larry is probably coming with me. Any SS members planning any get-together on Saturday? Anyone need any M37/M35 or windshields? I can bring some with me.

You probably know this bigmike, but for those new to this or the April version of Camp Delta, it's an all week event for some, building toward the weekend. Busiest day usually Friday. Some who are there for days leave Saturday afternoon, so if you want to see the most, come early Saturday or even better a day or two before that. Sunday is pull out day - not a good day to arrive!

We just added a spaghetti dinner Saturday night. Only $6.00 with KOA cooking. Charity fundraiser. So this is the first September meet with dinners available Thursday - Saturday, just like April.

Weather supposed to be mild for the Delta - 80s to 90, coolest day Tuesday, cooling a bit by Saturday. Two pools - bring you
swimsuits!
