Can 3 phase environmental control units be converted or used on single phase?

I bought a couple different units for my shop, and didnt think about it being 3 phase. Now realizing it and not having 3 phase capabilities in my shop, I am wondering if there is a way to convert them to 220 supply. Any ideas? I have nordic air hdt60k and 18k environmental control units, and tiernay 18k air conditioners.

The compressor, blower motor, and condenser motors are all 3 phase. Change all 3, or get 3 phase to your shop. The locked rotor amps on the compressor is like 187, so be careful using solid state phase converter devices.

Sounds like a good excuse to buy a nice military 3 phase generator to me.

A 3phase mil genset is less $ than a phase converter with enough oomph to run HVAC.

Not worth changing over to single phase. sell them and buy the right equipment.
