Can I wax my HMMWV??

I would like to put my HMMWV 1097 woodland camo in a few parades and other show related community activities. I have seen some people use diesel or kerosene to shine and give that clean wet look. Is this a good or bad thing?
Can I wax my HMMWV? Im just looking to give it that clean dark rich color with almost a wet look.

I would NOT apply wax to any vehicle painted with CARC.

Anything you put on CARC will not be good for your CARC paint job.

Just because you CAN do something does not mean you SHOULD. This advice is worth almost twice what you just paid for it.
