Can not get the fuel filter off

Doing my first fuel filter change and I can not get them to spin off

Ummm, they don't spin off. Have you read the TMs? They're a cartridge style filter.

Do you have spin-on filters or filter housings where the filter sits inside the can?

Are they spin on or Canister type?

Actually, you don't spin the filter housing. There is a bolt on top of the housing that you use to tighten/loosen the filter canisters.

And you torque the bolt correctly or they leak or break.

I did remove the bolt but it does not want to come off, tried to spin it but still could not move it but it is cold out going to put the bolt back in and start the Deuce to let it warm up and try it again

tap on the housing side to side

Put the bolt back on slightly and tap it straight down. I have never had any problems doing it this way.

Undo the bolt and tap the side of the housing with a small block of wood or hammer handle. Don't hit it so that you dent the housing. It will pop loose.

Use the TM's to become more familiar with your truck.

If it's cold you may have some ice in there causing you this issue... Did you recently drain the fuel filters for water? I took a bunch out of mine..

Tapped on it with small hammer and it came right off boy what a mess dose not look like it has ever been changed

3511-primary and 3512-secondary
oil is 1133.
