can you pull a regular trailer

with the stock CUCV pintle? I see some pintles in Northerns Catalog with a "BALL" lower jaw. Not really planning on towing. Just like to have a plan in case.

The pintle/ball hitches give you the flexability to pull a trailer with either a lunette or ball type tongue. Your pintle on the CUCV will work with lunette trailers only.

I have had the combo ball on my M1009 for about 10 years and it works great. The hole pattern is the same as the military pintle. Your M1008 is better for towing than the M1009 Blazer.
