Caplugs and Bendix Connector

Who sells caplugs that are the correct size/type for the VIC-1? I live down a dusty road and would like to plug the unused ports on the main unit and subunits of the VIC-1. I checked directly with Caplugs and they told me that part number is no longer manufactured by them. I need 8 of these. Any help/suggestions?

Who knows the part number or who sells the bendix connector that connects to the vehicle interconnector (that three prong bugger behind the seat of a M35A2) and also connects to the 7777 suppressor out ports? I need two. One is to hook up the 7777 to the vehicle. I have the cable that supplies power to the back of the 7777 but the one end is bare wires - I want to put the bendix connector on that end. I also want to use the other port on the 7777 for a 24 to 12 volt convertor.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Actually you need the cable that runs from the 7777 to the 1780 amplifier or the MT1029 depending on how you have your system set up. I have some spare bendix rings but the entire cable set up would be better.

Caps...how many you want?

Why would you want to add another point of failure into the system by putting a second bendix to power? Highly suggest taking your bare wires, putting a electical connector on it, and going straight to battery. Alternatively you could go to the power switch if you were worried about accidently leaving the radio/intercom on and draining the battery.

Check Fair Radio. If they don't show what you need, contact them. I've bought Bendix connectors from them, both male and female, which is what the little bugger is behind the seat. You may also find just the cable you need.

After reading Carnacs' post, I have to agree with going straight to the battery. I did mine that way.

To clarify, I have the CX-10613/G (that goes from the 7777 to the connector behind the seat that gets me to the battery) so I'm set there. I also have a CX-4720 that goes to the 1780 -- it has the 1780 side connector but terminates into bare wires. So I want to put a bendix on so I can plug that into the 7777. Then, I want to plug my convertor into the other side of 7777 so I need a second bendix for that. I know the CX-13089 would be ideal, but that's not what I have. I will call Fair Radio, thanks boatcarpenter.

You do give me something to think about with draining the batteries, I will ponder that.
