CJ-7 pick up today

Returned a short while ago from a CJ-7 body/frame pick up.
It's for another of my son's projects and he and a friend came along in the deuce for the 62 mile round trip.
We backed into the back yard between two houses and loaded the old jeep and returned home.
Biodiesel/veggie oil was the fuel and the truck ran beautifully.

What, no pics? What's Adrian up to now? Perhaps a bio powered CJ, yeah, that would be neat.

Bjorn, how much do you guess that weighed? no engine, tranny, transfer right?

is that the jeep's roll cage functioning as a spreader?

About the weight, not sure, perhaps 1,500 lb.
We used a separate roll cage, it's not attached to the jeep and grabbed it with the slings down on the sides. Two I-beams were used under the frame with chains making up the last part of the "rigging".
