Clevises

I recently bought a clevis here on the classifieds to replace my missing 4th clevis on my M1009. It arrived in the mail today and it won't fit on my truck! Do these things come in different sizes? The guy I bought it from says it came from another m1009. It's easily 3/4'' narrower than my other three.

How does one find a clevis that fits? Do I need to search for a specific year model?

The clevis is the same size its just the opening. I went at it with a mallet and I got it over the mount, just barely. It's on now and I think I'm gonna keep it even though all my others swing freely. This one is so tight it doesn't swing at all. Oh well.

Double up on a pair of splitting wedges in the pin opening, drive them in, spread the opening, fix is done.
