Clutch_Transmission Issues

Anybody have any experience with the following. On my WC-54 I am able to upshift through the gears with no issues. I am unable to downshift, even with double clutching, gears just grind so to avoid any damage I can only down shift, 3 to 2 or 4-3 when I am at rest or moving very slowly. I am a little hesitant to adjust the clutch to much as I up-shifting is OK. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

In addition to double clutching, You should Rev up the engine to equal the gear speed. If this is not working, then it seems the synchro mesh system is badly worn.OR the clutch is dragging. As the former would make clutchless gear changing possible.
