Compressor pulley have key?

Does anyone recall if the pulley has a keyway or not? I'm replacing a AWOL compressor on a deuce, and the new compressor has a keyway, and the pulley I just bought does not. It is NOS and has never been installed. Thanks in advance.

Well I haven't had mine off but the TM does show a key.

Now you know why the pulley was never installed.

I'd almost bet all compressors have key ways, but not all pulleys need them. Better to have and not need it, then need it and not have it senario.

The pulley on my truck doesn't have a keyway either.
