One solution could be to check if pressure when inflating is below the preset. This means that there is not enough pressure in the tank and that the tires will deflate instead of inflate. Doing so it can be avoid that the pressure in the wet tank gets below a critical level. Than it can be used the cheap compressor switch that start below 80 and stop at 120...
And I hope that people will check that something is going wrong if engine fan starts spinning due low air in the wet tank.
BUT it's not as safe as it's now: if wire is broken the ctis will not start...

That can’t happen unless your tires are over ~85 PSI or you are drawing CTIS air from somewhere else. CTIS(and the fan) pulls air from the protection valve and it wont let air out of the wet tank unless the tank pressure is over 85PSI…

Can I get a link or a pm regarding the CTIS Arduino purchase? I can't PM Christian as I don't have enough posts, and likely won't, as I am dumb and everyone has already asked my silly questions.

6x6 1997 Stewart and Stephenson. My hope was to build a small habitat and be a responder for the storms in Florida.
The factory Dana controller IS water proof. And also programmable. It also seems to a little more tolerant of wiring harness short circuits. Buddy of mine bricked his Arduino due to his truck developing a wiring harness fault. Dana controller survived and was able to diagnose and report a fault code.

This for sure. It's MIL standard, and not just a brick of diy electronic...

When you say Dana controller, are you talking about the original CTIS system? Noob, sorry
Correct. It's a matter of preference really. I mentioned the factory controller because it wouldn't care about being wet in a high-water rescue environment, etc.

You can read a bit about them and what you can do with them here on this thread:
