On the M-1009 I took off the outer hub engage
that came off and then the spring and the inner gear
and then I took off the lock C clamp and It wont come apart any further.
There's still a inner gear and a outer gear. Whats going on?
I cant get it apart.
Who has the schematics?
I tried to look it up in the TM but it would not come up.
I have taking different ones apart before, but this is different somethings must be wrong or I'm just missing something.
Any help would be appreciated

Did you remove both snap-rings (inner that sits in axle shaft and outer lock ring that sits in the groove in the hub)?

The grease can be sticky, so thread 2 of the bolts that hold the selector knob back into the holes in the body and tug on them to get it out.

The c clamp as you call is just holds the axle shaft in the hub. The thing that keeps the locking hub in the rotor hub is the small ring in a groove in the rotor hub. It is just like cucvfan said. The ring can be missed because it is small in diameter and grease hides is and the opening. Wipe off the inside of the hub and you will see the ring.
