All,

I am looking for a spare tire/rim for my M101A2 trailer. It has CUCV rims on it (Not Hummer) Is there an easy way to tell if they are 16 or 16.5 inch rims? I know there is that info stamped on the INSIDE of the rim. There is a local junkyard up the road thats closing and getting cleaned up. They have several old Chevy K-5 Civy type Blazers with the steel wheels. Will these K-5 rims work? I think so, but I want to get some opinions from the experts.

Thanks!

How many lugs do they have? If they are 6 lug, they would be most likely 15". If they are 8 lug, they could be 16 or 16.5, and the tires that are on it should say what size they are. In the end for a spare, it shouldnt matter, as long as the final diameter is pretty close to the same as your other tires.

Just FYI. The M101A2 trailer tires (Pre humvee tires) are on 16x6.5 rims, and I found dozens of them at the local junkyard off of 3/4 and 1 ton Chevy's from the mid 1980's
