CUCV Winterfront

I am ordering the jatonka cucv winter front and i had a couple questions about the specifics.

Does anyone here currently use the jatonka winterfront on their cucv or the military one? does it fit and work ok? any issues with it?

Does anyone have pictures of the original hardware required to install on a cucv?

Does anyone have a good source for acquiring the correct hardware?


I am seeking opinions testimonials rants etc on winter fronts in general as well as any warnings or cautions. truck is not reaching what i think it should temp wise and temps are dropping so i figured this was a good time to discuss this topic.

Another item I'm JUST GONNA HAVE TO GET. And unlike most you guys. I have to buy three of them.

That's what I get for collecting and restoring more than one.

And at the price of $65 plus s&h is KILLER...

Just gotta budget for it.

Me two gotta have one of those. Exspecial now that it is getting down in to the high 20s where i am. Doe's anyone have a picture of what the hardware looks like to install one of these.

The hardware is available at the Ace Hardware stores, probably at True Value too. 3 snap button male sides and 2 turn lock males like on the Deuce soft tops. I can include them in the Winter front price for extra money or you can get them like I did with no middleman profit. Some of your CUCVs already have the fittings on them. 3 buttons under the hood at the 3 upper grill screws and 2 turn locks at left and right edge of the main grill. JT out

as an update got the front, installed it and truck is running straight normal and a heck of alot warmer the fitment is spot on and the quality is very high. could not locate the "correct" hardware but did find suitable enough stuff to install
