So I recently caught the bug and bought an MEP004A with acoustic suppression off govplanet. Well, almost. What I actually got was a 113A with an ASK and nameplate off of a 004A, and of course no help from Ritchie brothers so now I'm stuck with it. I'm willing to swap the generator end but I'm not sure what size bellhousing the D198er has. I've read through the thread by Kurtkds and he mentions that the gen end he used fit an SAE 2 bellhousing, but I've seen multiple other references to the D198 itself having an SAE 3. Does anyone know for sure which it has, or have a motor or stock gen end sitting around that they can measure?

Its not just the head, theres a few other things that need swapped as well.

The TMs should have the part numbers, just need to compare the two.

I wasn't necessarily going with mil parts, I can get a gen head that comes with all of its own electrical stuff just like kurtkds did, but I don't want to buy a SAE 3 gen head if the motor has a SAE 2 bellhousing because then I need an adapter. I just need to know which bellhousing the D198ER has, SAE 2 like Kurt makes it seem, or SAE 3 like others have said.
