Saturday, March 14th the Military Vehicle Collectors of Colorado will be participating in Denver's St Patrick Day parade with close to 30 vehicles. Last year over 200,000 people showed up and we won the entrants 1st prize. Anyone in the area come on out. We stage at 10 am in one of the the Coors Field parking lots a block north of the stadium. We need SS members to pray for good weather. Its been 70 degrees plus this last week so it might be time for the 3 foot snowstorm.

Right now the weather is saying 54 degrees and sunny. Perfect weather for a parade. I'll trailer the M37 6X6 down and be there Saturday morning around 9:30 AM. I'm off of my four day rotation at work Thusday morning so I'll have time to clean her up and load her up. Are we going to haul folks as well or just run the vehicles. The reason I ask is that my trucks actually belong to my German Shepherd "Ranger" (just ask him) and he would love to ride along in the back. He loves passengers but he is a might on the large size and might frighten some folks. He's a big sweetheart, just looks kind of intimidating.

Regards,

As far as I know, there maybe some re-enactors riding along, but there will be plenty of trucks, so "solo" if you prefer. I'm looking forward to meeting you, and alot of the club members would like to see your "stretched" M37, myself included. See you Saturday! Do you need staging information?

Another sucessful St. Patrick's Day Parade! The MVCC had a great turnout with about 30 vehicles. We had Jeeps, Deuces, A stretched M37, 5 tons, CUCVs, WWII reenactors, Nurses, yes read: Nurses, Pinz's, and a Gama Goat, you name it, it was there! The sun was out and the parade watchers were enjoying every minute of the show. We didn't have any breakdowns, and the vehicles performed flawlessly! After the parade, we all met at Brookly's and had lunch while enjoying each other's company. All in all, a great day with a bunch of great Guys and Gals, belonging to a great Club! Don't put up the "worthless without pictures" thing, I'm sure the photos will soon follow. I just wanted to start the thread for them.
