Never tried any paint and body work, my original paint is just faded, but looks good,
my question is my passenger side fender.
After a few head gaskets and then a full engine replacement, there has been a lot of "fat old man" on the fender.... so now my hood and side access panel on one side doesn't line up (by almost a quarter inch) unless i lift hard on the fender.
I "may have" loosened something up... (support brace or something) while working on her, but i wanted to check to see if it could be something that simple....
Or if the fender springs could make that much difference.
The side panel looks straight, but i know its had lots of weight on it and may be bent some.
I just wanted to toss this out and see if anyone has any suggestions or comments.
Thank you
