I have a m35 it has a 302 gas engine and auto trani. I purchased a multi fuel with whistler turbo .what would I need to do to replace gas engine with the diesel one?

Let's see here. If it in fact has a 302 Gasser, it's been modified and there is no way of us members knowing how. In the event it is stock with the 331 gasser, these 2 threads will answer a ton of questions.

Or, is the truck an M135 made by GMC?

If it is a GMC 135 (and with 302 & auto it should be) you would have to completely re-engineer the complete truck, including tranny, frame and sheet metal. If it looks like this you are going to do a lot of fab work to make it fit and don't really remember anyone doing it, but I could be wrong.
