Deuce+Snow+Winch=FUN

I took the deuce up the Tehachapi mountains today with a few friends to bust through the snow and get some firewood. We pulled out 4 truck loads of downed trees and had a blast. I had to bust the trail though the snow and winch a few times. Its a good thing I just put the winch on. On the way home I got within a mile of the house and blew the right front tire. I cut the sidewall on a rock is all I can figure that and the huge hole in the sidewall kind of gives it away.

are you burning a type of pine for firewood? Good thing you didn't have any speed when the tire blewout.

I wanted to use my winch to pull people out the last few days but I don't have anyone to assist that knows how to do it correctly. I need to work on that..

I'm burning pine and oak both. I use a little pine to start the fire then I use oak the rest of the night.

The NDTs did about as good as a good alterain tire. To be really effective I would like to have lockers front and rear.
